As COVID-19 cases in Sierra County slow down to 10% of the population you will once again be able to attend the county board of supervisors meetings in person. Since the oncoming of the virus the county supervisors have meet virtually to reduce the spread. Yet now as the virus has dwindled in the county one supervisor proposed returning to in person meetings to allow the people of the county to have a better opportunity to participate. The board has agreed to finish the year meeting virtually to ensure cases are remaining low through the holidays and will plan to meet in person at the start of the New Year. Supervisors will meet at both the Downieville and the Loyalton social Hall to hold a hybrid board of supervisors meeting going forward.
