Shane Michael Holland passed away with his family by his side on May 22, 2026, at the age of 48.
Memorial services are planned for:
Woodland June 15th 1 PM at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 432 Cleveland Street
Susanville June 28th 2 PM at Assembly of God 473-465 Richmond Road
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Northern California Cancer Advocates or Little League in memory of Shane Holland.

Memorial Service will be held June 13th in the Mineral Building at the Plumas-Sierra Fairgrounds. Please RSVPto Haley at 530-760-9935

In Loving Memory of Marvin Lynn Benner

Yolanda Soto Smith, born on July 18, 1954, danced from the surley bonds of earth into our Lord Jesus Christ loving arms on April 20, 2026.
A get together for those who want to attend will happen at Tony and Yolanda's house after the Celebration of Life. A graveside burial will be conducted on a future date that has not yet been determined.

Frank Scott Ulch passed away on May 19, 2026 at his home in Sparks, Nevada, surrounded by family. Scott was born in Oroville, California on July 20, 1952. He spent his youth in Susanville, California with his loving parents Millard Walker and Selena Helen Ulch on the Ulch Family Ranch raising Morgan horses and cattle. Scott graduated from Lassen High School in 1971. He volunteered with the Susan River Fire Department and the Lassen County Sheriff’s Posse.
Private graveside services for immediate family will be held at the Lassen Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Services will be held and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Susanville, on May 22nd at 11AM, followed by burial at the Janesville Cemetery

Dale Allen Nelson, 70, of Susanville, California, passed away on May 13, 2026.

Born in Susanville, Dale grew up in Westwood, California, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and baseball. He graduated from Del Oro High School in Loomis. He worked most of his life as a skilled carpenter, painter, builder, and handyman in Susanville.

In his retirement, Richard worked as a boat mechanic for Womack Construction. He died May 2, 2026, after a seven-year battle with pulmonary fibrosis of the lung, a result of exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. He lived a full and active life until shortly before his untimely passing.

Brian Blaine Anderson, age 66, of Susanville, California passed away on April 24, 2026.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be announced at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brian’s memory to the Annual Junior Fishing Derby.
