Position: News Director

Sierra Radio Network is a leading broadcast media organization that delivers reliable news and engaging content to our diverse audience. We are committed to quality journalism and community connection and strive to keep our listeners informed and entertained.

Responsibilities:

As the News Director you will play a crucial role in delivering compelling news stories. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Research and Preparation: Conduct thorough research on news topics, gather relevant information, and create engaging copy for news segments.
  2. Broadcasts: Provide live news reports, ensuring smooth transitions and impeccable delivery of news content.
  3. Content Coordination: Coordinate and organize news content, ensuring accuracy and relevance, for all media platforms
  4. Adaptability: Be ready to adapt to breaking news situations, assisting in delivering timely and accurate updates to our audience.

 

Qualifications:

– Strong interest in current events and news.

– Excellent research and organizational skills.

– Clear and articulate communication abilities.

– Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

– Previous experience in media or journalism is a plus.
