Police have arrested a man accused of killing two Reno residents in a shooting along U.S. 395 near Hallelujah Junction on Saturday.
California Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Isacc Anthony Pedroza of Reno now faces two counts of open murder.

The two Reno residents killed in the recent US 395 shooting have been identified as Spencer Browne, 17, and Richard Browne, 43 (father and son).
“The manner of death was homicide. The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds,” a statement from today from the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office indicated.
Earlier today, Isacc Anthony Pedroza pled not guilty in Lassen Superior Court on two counts of open murder for the deadly shooting on Highway 395 near Hallelujah Junction.
Pedroza also faces a personal discharge of a firearm enhancement and a charge related to the transportation of an assault weapon.
“To address some misinformation contained in adverse publicity currently circulating: this was not a “road rage” incident, this was not “gang related” and there was no officer involved shooting,” Lassen County indicated in a statement.
The shooting is reported to have taken place the morning of December 6th around 8:50 a.m. after two vehicles had pulled over near Long Valley Agricultural Inspection Station.
Trooper say two cars, each occupied by Reno residents, pulled over to the right shoulder, when a shooting took place between the two groups.
It’s unclear if the people knew each other or if it was a road-rage situation.
CHP called it a “highway violence incident”, but wouldn’t elaborate more.
