Wild horses are posing roadside hazards along hwy 299. The Bureau of land management will be capturing and removing about 25 horses from the carter reservoir herd management area. The horses are in search of food and water just east of Cedarville and getting too close to the roadway putting high-speed drivers at risk as well as putting themselves in harms way. A corral will be set up with water and bait to capture the horses. They will be then taken to a prep facility to be placed in private ownership through the BLM adoption and sales program.
