Now on day 5 of a boil water notice in Chester, you have a light at the end of the tunnel. Allan Homme with Chester Utility District said they have almost completed getting the chlorine out of the entire water system after finding the E.Coli traces. A few wells on the hill have been difficult but once cleared two 24 hour sample testings can take place. After the two day sampling those will be sent to the state for approval and Chester will be off that boil notice. Homme shared they hope to start the first 24 hour testing as soon as today. By Sunday evening or early Monday you may be safe to drink your water.
