Lying to a peace officer is a misdemeanor, adding that to a DUI will land you probationary time, fines, and jail time. Dale Wolf of Susanville found out just that as he has been convicted by jury for DUI and providing false information to a peace officer. Last august Wolf was arrested after officers found him and his wife on the side of the road after their jeep had crashed on hwy 70 near the Massack rest area. Wolf blamed his wife for the collision, yet upon investigation officers found wolf’s wife was unable to reach the pedals of the Jeep to which she admitted wolf was driving that night. This would be Wolf’s second DUI charge. He has been sentenced to five years’ probation and 60 days in the county jail.
