PG&E Still Completing Repairs to Restore Power – Many Expected to Have Lights Back on by Midnight

Quincy, Westwood, and some Lake Almanor homes are still without power after three days following the heavy snow storm that hit the area early this week. PG&E has restored power to some in the area but these areas were hit the hardest. Nearly 2500 homes in Quincy, 800 in Lake Almanor and just over 400 in Westwood are still without power. A total of 73 crews are out repairing equipment at multiple locations throughout the 4 counties that were impacted, as well as dozens of tree crews who are clearing hazards to support restoration efforts. PG&E is expecting most will have power restored by midnight tonight but there are a handful of customers in all 4 counties who may not get power restored until tomorrow.
