PG&E has placed thousands of workers on standby to be extra prepared for this winter weather. Crews have also stock piled power poles, power lines, transformers and other electrical equipment at their yards to restore power to any areas that may get impacted as quickly as possible. Vegetation crews were also out clearing hazardous tree limbs. With inclement weather power outages are possible, you can prepare by having back up heat sources ready for use, keeping on hand water, and shelf safe foods, and if you have a generator make sure you have fuel and it is working properly. Pg&E will be activating local operations emergency centers in impacted regions to send all staff and resources to any restoration efforts. You can get outage notifications through PG&E by text, email, or phone by visiting at PGE dot com
