The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS
* IMPACTS…Abundant lightning on dry fuels can create many firestarts. Any fires that develop could spread rapidly. Numerous new fire starts could overwhelm initial attack.
* AFFECTED AREA…
The majority of Siskiyou and Modoc Counties.
* THUNDERSTORMS will be Moving north around 20 to 25 mph and will be a mix of dry and wet thunderstorms.
* OUTFLOW WINDS can Gust up to 35 mph.
