Doug LaMalfa video states that Despite calls for the Department of Water Resources to conserve water, they’re now planning to release up to 50,000 cubic feet per second from Oroville. We need to ensure that our lakes stay full, and that means managing water wisely. Even if Oroville is 75% full, there’s no harm in continue to fill it knowing we can release water in advance of big storms. Letting it go now could leave us without the water we need later. It’s critical that we handle this right.
