BOIL WATER NOTICE – February 3, 2025
Effective Immediately Until Further Notice:
Due to the presence of contamination in the water supply, all residents of Downieville are required to boil their water before personal consumption. This includes drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, and preparing food or baby formula.
To ensure safety, bring water to a rolling boil for at least (3) minute, then let it cool before use. Alternatively, bottled water may be used for drinking and food preparation.
Additionally, we recommend conserving water by flushing toilets less frequently to help maintain overall water supply levels.
This notice remains in effect until further notice. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
