Today is your very last chance to sign up for the free debris removal program through CalOES. If your property was damaged by the Beckwourth or Dixie fire you can participate in the free program to help you clean up your property or you can work through the county’s alternative cleanup program. The goal of the Government Right of Entry (ROE) Debris Removal Program is to minimize your costs, allow you to quickly rebuild, and help the community quickly recover from the wildfires. If any parcels are left with debris, it will be a community, public health and safety issue. If you choose you can also select the private (alternative) program working with money you have and your insurance company. Both programs have the same requirements for debris removal and both programs offer the same Certificate of Completion once requirements are met. You will be able to rebuild once the certificate is obtained. You can get more information on the program by visiting wildfirerecovery.caloes.ca.gov or you can get your ROE form at Lassencounty.org or Plumascounty.us
