A Chester restaurant will be receiving a 3,000-dollar grant from PG&E. The grant is from the company’s foundation supporting restaurants with ongoing pandemic recovery in assistance with the California restaurant foundation. Funds can be used to help with equipment upgrades from deferred maintenance, as well as respond to staffing shortages for employee retention. The coffee station in Chester will be among 8 other restaurants in the north state to receive the funding.
