The numbers are in; The Susanville Salvation Army surpasses its $32,000 goal. Coordinator Caral McDonald shared that the Red Kettle campaign’s annual Holiday Season donation collections totaled $34,300. Carla thanks the community for their strong support this holiday season.

To top off the success, Cobi, the young volunteer who set his own goal to collect twice as much in donations as he did last year to meet the needs of those less fortunate this holiday season, also met and went beyond his $2,000 dollar goal, reaching a grand total of $2,099.

The Susanville Salvation Army, along with Holiday with a Hero, had an additional hurdle to overcome this year with the addition of over 300 more families and children in need in the county who participated in the Lassen Toys for Tots program as the charity was shuttered just before the holiday season began, marking this years success even more impactful.
