The Susanville Fire Department invites the community to a September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on September 11, 2026, at 7:05 a.m. The event takes place at the department headquarters, 1505 Main Street.
This ceremony marks the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 tragedy. The department honors the nearly 3,000 lives lost and recognizes the courage of first responders, civilians, and others who showed strength during and after the attacks.
Community members, first responders, veterans, public safety agencies, and local organizations can attend to reflect and show gratitude. First responders planning to participate in uniform should arrive by 6:30 a.m.
