A fire broke out on Sunday at Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church in Bieber. Initial reports indicated the blaze began just before noon. Emergency crews from CALFIRE responded to the scene.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, firefighters continued working on ventilation efforts into the afternoon, with some units beginning to clear from the scene around 2:44 p.m.
