Power has been restored to the Bucks Lake area after PG&E repaired its electric infrastructure damaged in the Dixie Fire.
At about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, PG&E crews energized the lines and restored power to more than 300 customers. Before this could be done, crews had to remove hazardous trees, rebuild poles and power lines and patrol the circuit to ensure it was safe to restore power.
PG&E worked closely with fire agencies so it could safely access the burn area and evaluate damage, and repair the circuit.
