Hough Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest. The district is seeking comments and lists of priorities for the Claremont Forest Resiliency Project that borders Quincy and Meadow Valley within the wildland urban interface. Like many such projects the goal is to reduce fuels, improve forest health, and restore habitats and improve watersheds. You can learn more about what will be done to accomplish these goals during a town hall this Wednesday. There will be district employees there to speak to you between 4 and 6pm at the Quincy Library. If you have a specific topic of interest or any questions you can also contact Mt. Hough District Project Lead Kyla Sabo by email.
