Warmer Weather finally allows Portola to provide free Green Waste
The Northern Sierra Air Quality Management District is bringing to Portola “May Free Green Waste.”
This will allow Portola residents who can not burn safely in the city limits to dispose of their green waste and debris properly. You must separate your pine needles, wood waste, and pine cones. This is only for Portola residents inside the city limits; therefore, an ID will be needed as proof of residence.
The program will run from May 20th to June 10th from Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 9 am to 4 pm closed for lunch at 12:00-12:30.
