A Taylorsville man has died after crashing his truck into a tree in the early morning hours last Wednesday. 46 year old Damien Bennett was traveling on SR 89 north of Prattville Butt Reservoir Rd when he veered off the road and collided with a tree. Susanville CHP reported Bennett sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
