Quincy Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire off of Lee Road in Quincy earlier this morning. A shed in the backyard was found to be fully engulfed with extension to the adjacent structure. Fire personnel were able to extinguish the fire quickly and save other structures that were threatened by the spread of this fire. Fire progress was stopped in the Charlie-delta corner of the residence that was not inhabited at this time. We would like to think our volunteer firefighters, support team, mutual aid from Meadow Valley Fire Department, and Care Flight Ground for their assistance in this incident.
