4 Firefighters Injured In Dixie Fire

Joint Command Team on the Dixie Fire is reporting that four firefighters have been injured due to a snag in the East zone of the fire. They were transported for medical care. Three have been released, while one remains hospitalized but in stable condition.

A snag is defined as a standing dead tree. These present very hazardous conditions for crews as they are dry fuel for any fire and are susceptible to fall.
