Fatal Accident on SR 32

A Chester man has died after colliding with a tree on SR 32. Early Friday morning, 45-year-old Matthew Wing was driving his Toyota 4-Runner westbound on State Route 32 (SR-32), when For unknown reasons the Toyota crossed over the double yellow lines, across the opposing lane, and off of the south shoulder of the road and collided with a tree. Wing sustained major injuries from the collision. First responders on the scene made efforts to save Wing’s life but he succumbed to his injuries. Wing was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision. Wing’s dog, Mack, was with him during the collision and escaped the vehicle, officers were initially unable to locate the dog, yet within a few hours of the incident, Mack was found and reunited with his family.
