Plumas County is making an effort to promote tourism in the wake of the Dixie fire. They will be creating videos that will play in television spots in Reno, Chico, Sacramento, and the Bay Area in November and December. The Feather river tourism along with the Lake Almanor Chamber of Commerce and Quincy Chamber of Commerce are working with Spanish Peak Productions and Dynamic Cinema Production to create the videos, with a total cost of over 42,000 dollars. Nearly half of that amount has already been donated by Local Plumas businesses. Yet the county is asking for your help in raising the remaining funds. If you wish to donate you can mail checks to the Quincy Chamber of Commerce.
