Magnitude 5.0 Earthquake Rocks Susanville and Surrounding Valleys

Susanville Residents Shaken by 5.0 Magnitude Shaker

The USGS is reporting that a magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck just northwest of Round Valley Reservoir, north of the Honey Lake Valley at 4:41 this afternoon. This temblor was centered about 8 miles north of Susanville. It was felt here in Susanville, the Honey Lake Valley, Eagle Lake and the Willow Creek Valley.
