UPDATE – Bucks Lake, Highlands Fire
The fire is now fully contained and the evacuation warning for Zone PLU-70-B has been lifted. The area has returned to normal status and there are no further evacuation notices in effect at this time.

Plumas County Sheriff Office reports the previous issued evacuation order for the area of the Bucks Lake Highlands has been reduced to an evacuation warning. The zone is PLU-70-B. Crews report forward progress has been stopped at about 1/2 acre and there is handline around the perimeter.
