SPI Lands Remain Closed Despite Recent Rainfall Due to Wildfire Risk

Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) has announced that its California lands will remain closed to the public despite recent rainfall in parts of the state. According to SPI, the decision is due to ongoing heightened wildfire risks, with forest conditions still critically dry.

“Unfortunately, even with the rain, the long-term forecast has dry weather and forest conditions remain dry. stated SPI representatives. “Our team of experts is continually monitoring the conditions and our land will be reopened for public recreation as soon as it is safe to do so.”

SPI emphasized its commitment to protecting the forests for future enjoyment and expressed gratitude for the public’s support and understanding during this period.
