When you drive through Greenville, you’ll start to see new signs showing up around the town now in the rebuilding stages following the Dixie Fire. Lee Anne Schramel, with the Greenville Rotary and Plumas Strong shared the signs will read “We’re rebuilding”. The signage was introduced at the Rebuilding Greenville Homeowners Workshop. The idea is as you drive through the town you will be able to see who is returning and who is rebuilding, growing the sense of hope and strength those from Greenville have after losing everything to the fire. The signs will be put up for free on interested property owners lots with the help from Plumas Strong. Each sign will be printed by Wild Hare Signs. Additionally the town just recently gained a gas station, while some local businesses have begun to break ground on their new sites. It is also reported that now at the six month anniversary of the towns destruction that they are ahead of where many other burned communities have been in their recovery process.
