Repairs to Susanville’s largest well have been completed ahead of schedule, lifting water reductions.
Homes were told to limit outdoor watering in early July just as summer heat arrived when a mechanical failure caused the pump to fail on the city’s well 3, which served as a primary source for summer irrigation. Bob Godman, Public Works Director, had anticipated the component needed to facilitate the repairs would not arrive until mid-August, however, announced yesterday that with the help of Tri-County Pumps and Automation Electric, the well is now back in operation.
Your regular outdoor watering schedule can resume.
