Emergency crews responded to a fully engulfed trailer fire in Susanville on Tuesday morning. The fire was reported just before 9:30 a.m. in the Sleepy Hallow Mobile Home Park, prompting emergency vehicles to line Ash Street and resulting in the closure of the roadway from Chestnut to Skyline.
The fire was knocked down by 10 a.m. and, according to radio traffic, was contained to the single home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and an official statement is pending.
