The U.S. National Weather Service says La Niña is here to stay. In the climate prediction center models are showing the trend to continue into spring as below average ocean temps and consistent atmospheric patterns continue to match up. With that brings the promise of more precipitation into the next few months. Chris Smallcomb with the Reno National weather service says there is light confidence in a storm brewing for the first week of February.
