The window is narrowing for those wanting to throw their hat in the race during March’s Primary election.
Candidate declarations are due by December 8th.
In a survey conducted by the Public Policy Insitute of California shows voters are weary of the direction the state is going. Still, there is strong support for Governor Gavin Newsom and the Democratic-controlled state legislature. Sixty percent expect bad economic times over the next year, with the top issues on voters’ minds this year, according to the survey, are jobs and the economy.
If you are already registered to vote, you can begin to see your ballot hit your mailbox as soon as February 5th.
The last day to register to vote for the March 5th Presidential Primary Election is February 20th.
