Another amendment to a municipal code for the city of Susanville will be considered at this week’s council meeting. This time the council will look to approve the tightening down of illegal firework usage and enforce stricter rules on responsible parties. Additionally the council will hear a presentation from the Lassen County Local Roadway Safety Study from the Lassen County Transportation Commission, and the Soroptomist International of Susanville will be donating 13,000 dollars from fundraisers towards the costs of the CCC attorney fees. You can attend this week’s meeting virtually on the City Administration facebook, as well as in person at City hall, starting at 5pm this Wednesday.
