The Eagle Lake Ranger District has announced a temporary reduction in the days it will sell forest products and other items due to a staffing shortage. For the foreseeable future, these sales will be available only on Wednesdays.
Visitors needing to purchase maps, fuelwood permits, or other Forest Service products can do so at the Supervisor’s Office in Susanville or at other District Offices during their regular business hours.
Despite the change, the Eagle Lake Ranger District Office will continue to operate on its regular schedule for visitor information. The District encourages anyone with questions to call the office directly. The Forest Service appreciates the public’s understanding as it navigates this staffing transition.
