Rare Injured Falcon Saved at SPI Quincy

California Department of Fish and Wildlife and a local bird of prey rescuer save an injured falcon at the Quincy Sierra Pacific Industries log yard. A rare Peregrine Falcon was found by employees and appeared to have a broken wing. It was noticed that the bird was chasing pigeons and hit equipment behind the large log mill. Employees were able to find the bird in the bark pile. Lt. Kyle Kroll from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Debbie Bliss the local bird of prey rescuer was able to rescue the falcon and get it transport to the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care.
