Lassen National Forest Prescribed fire operations begin today and throughout the week, as weather and conditions allow, for the Eastside Underburn, on Hat Creek Rim near Bainbridge Reservoir, along forest road 34N13. Smoke may be visible from the Hat Creek Valley and Fall River Mills. Smoke may linger in the early morning and late evening, for a couple of days, in valley bottoms and other low-lying areas.
