Plumas County Public Health responds to the Governor’s declaration to end the COVID-19 state of emergency to calm any concerns.
The health department says there will be no lack of resources were there to be a potential holiday surge since the state of emergency is set to end on February 28th. The department goes on to ensure that with the dramatic decrease in hospitalizations and deaths from the virus, the tools and ability to fight COVID remain in place; adding that “The impact on the general public will be minimal as most COVID requirements have been discontinued or downgraded to recommendations.”
