A motorcycle collision has claimed the life of another in Plumas County. Sunday morning around 11 am David Nunley was riding his BMW motorcycle that had a sidecar attachment along Peoria Creek Rd. north of forest service rd 23N39. For unknown reasons Nunley lost control and flipped the motorcycle trapping him underneath. By 2:20 pm a passerby found him and was able to lift the bike off of him, yet after Plumas Search and Rescue arrived by 4:10 Nunley succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
