Work will begin Monday, September 21, on the North Willow Creek CIR Project on State Route 139 in Lassen County.

Crews will repave about eight miles of the highway north of Susanville. The $5.5 million project also includes guardrail upgrades, shoulder improvements, and new striping.

Construction will run from September 21 through mid-November. Workers will control one-way traffic, causing delays up to 15 minutes. Traffic controls will operate Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Drive slowly and follow posted speed limits through the work zone. Plan extra travel time to avoid being late.
