The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office and Susanville Police Department’s phone systems will be down. At the same time, the dispatch center undergoes service work, and there is a new temporary non-emergency line to call. This morning for a brief 2-hour window that started from 6:00 to 8:30 a.m., work will impact the non-emergency phone lines for both departments, yet the 911 system though will not be affected, and you can still make emergency 911 calls. For non-emergency calls, here is the temporary number to call (530)257-5575. The sheriff’s office will post updates when the Office phone system is taken down and when it is restored.
