The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office is set to introduce a new app focused on mental health and well-being.

Thanks to a $38,000 grant, the app aims to support officers and staff facing daily challenges in their line of work. The app offers immediate access to licensed therapists or Chaplains for officers, staff, and their families. Additionally, the app includes nutrition and fitness wellness features tailored to suit the lifestyle of officers.

The agreement with the app provider, Lexico and Cortico, is set to last for three years. Sheriff Growdon expressed his gratitude towards Captain Carney and the staff involved in negotiating for the app, noting that he is passionate about this effort because of the importance of caring for the well-being of the sheriff’s office employees.
