Three dirt bike-riding young men are on the run after a campground brawl in Sierra County, and authorities are turning to the public to help track them down.
The incident happened on September 4, 2024, around 5 PM, when deputies received a report of a fight breaking out at the campground in western Sierra County.
According to witnesses, three young men approached campers, and what started as a verbal argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
The suspects, all believed to be in their late teens to early twenties, were riding dirt bikes and were seen driving a white ’90s model Chevy or Ford pickup truck. They had removed the license plates before they could be noted.
Here’s what authorities know about them:
One suspect is over 6 feet tall and has a neck tattoo. He was last seen wearing blue and white swim trunks with stars. He may go by the name “Cayden.”
Another suspect is about 6 feet tall with dark hair. The third, who has short blond hair, was wearing a thin jacket featuring a flower emblem tied to a local bike group. He may go by the name “Jack.”
The suspects mentioned that they frequent Sierra County and are associated with a local bike group. They also hinted that they’re from the Concord area. The U.S. Forest Service had prior encounters with them at the same campground a couple of weeks earlier for an illegal campfire, but no IDs were made at the time.
