Lassen Municipal Utility District is making it easier for you to make cash payments with a new option on their SmartHub app. The company just rolled out the option for you to pay your bill with cash without having to go far from your home or if you are out of town. Theresa Phillips with LMUD explains it’s as simple as downloading the SmartHub app and selecting cash payments where a personalized barcode will be created for your account that you can then use at locations such as Dollar General and Wal-Mart, with payments being taken out automatically upon completion of the transaction. LMUD will continue to accept payments in many other forms and will continue accepting payments if you come into the office. the service will allow those who live in Janesville and Westwood to make payments right in town without having to make the trip into Susanville to the LMUD offices to make a cash payment.To learn more about the LMUD Smart Hub app visit LMUD.org
