Hometown Pride Clean-up Move to Phase 3

SHARE NOW

Phase 3 gets underway next weekend for the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce Hometown Pride Cleanup. You can help in this next phase where volunteers will be starting at Alexander and finishing at Fairfield street. You can plan to meet at Singleton Auman parking lot on Main street at 9:30 am with work beginning by 10 am. You can help the chamber by pulling weeds, power washing the sidewalks, and picking up trash and recycling. Efforts are being made as the chamber says to make your City of Susanville a beautiful sight to be seen and heard. The goal is to have everyone living here and passing through want to stop and take in the view. The city has so much potential to be a prominent stop on somebody’s vacation, an enjoyable stroll down Main Street, and a showcase of what a small town should be about. With the added goal of promoting and instilling pride in this community and giving local business owners and you a chance to take part in creating the atmosphere, you’ve always wanted.

If you have any recommendations or if you would like to volunteer to take part in this Community Clean-Up Project, you can give the Chamber a call at 257-4323, or stop by their offices on Main Street across from the Fire Department.
