Gumba’s Owners Speak out About Early Morning Fire

Owners of Gumba’s Family Pizza speak out following Friday’s early morning fire that destroyed the well-loved establishment, confirming it has been a complete loss.

“Our beloved Gumba’s is gone.”

The owners, Matt and Elizabeth Cruse, said no one was injured by the blaze, and asked for nothing but prayers, love and support.

A GoFundMe account has been created for the employees of the restaurant to support their daily lives until they can find a new place of employment.

The Fire broke out around 3 am, fire crews from around the county responded, with the Graeagle Volunteer Fire Department leading the charge. There have been no determination to the cause of the fire, but speculations of arson have been discredited by Gumba’s owners.

Responders were able to contain the fire to the structures and prevent its spread into the nearby forest lands.
