Caltrans is gearing up for an over $800,000 project to install rumble strips along State Route 36. The strips will be placed on the centerline and both the eastbound and westbound shoulders from Riverside Drive to just west of the Highway 395 junction.
Construction is set to begin on Monday, October 7th. During the work, motorists should expect delays of up to 10 minutes, Monday through Friday nights, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Drivers are advised to slow down, observe speed limits, and allow extra time for travel in construction zones.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
