Don Willis, County Suveyor of Lassen County Department of Planning Building Services reported the results of the  monthly Eagle Lake measurement. The lake has come up 0.21 ft. (2.52 in.) over the past month. This puts the lake level at an elevation of 5095.41 feet as measured at the low water ramp at Gallatin, which is currently 0.78 ft. (9.36 in.) above where it was one year ago at this time.
Since the beginning of December, 2024, the lake has risen 2.8 ft. (33.6 in.). Pine Creek is still flowing, although it has slowed since we were there last month. He stated that it was a pretty good winter although it would have been nice to see the lake rise even higher.
