CDCR Will Produce Environmental Impact Report for Proposed Closure of CCC

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is making a move during the injunction period of the proposed closure of the California Correctional Center, CCC. A public notice of preparation in compliance with the CA Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) will be creating an environmental impact report. This report is in efforts to analyze the impact the closure of CCC will have on the local community in all facets. The review period began on the 11th and will run through February 14th. This is an opportunity for your voice to be heard about how the closure of CCC will affect you and the community. Your comments will be accepted through the review period.
