California State Parks will allow free access to Veterans in honor of their service.
One hundred forty-four select parks throughout the state will offer the free pass for those who have served the country. California State Parks Director said in a statement that “State Parks recognizes the many sacrifices members of our nation’s military and their families have made and continue to make in the service of their country,”
all military veterans, reservists, and active-duty personnel are welcome to participate.
A full list of the participating parks can be found online at the state parks website. parks.ca.gov/VeteransDay2023.
All you will need to do to get in for free as a Veteran is your valid military ID or a California driver’s license identifying you as a veteran shown to park staff at your arrival.
